The Team Associated RC10B84.1D continues the prestigious legacy of a proven winning platform: With the historic IFMAR World Championship title secured in Australia by Team Associated factory driver Marcus Kaerup, the B84 proved itself as the global benchmark in 1:10 4WD off-road racing. The race-proven RC10B84.1D dirt evolution transfers this uncompromising World Champion DNA straight into the kit—specifically optimized for maximum mechanical traction, smooth power delivery, and superior control across natural loam and dirt tracks.
Champion Proven: Center Differential, Molded Gears, and V2 Steering Precision
The foundation of this dirt specialist is the competition-developed 2.5mm tapered 7075-T6 aluminum chassis featuring a Wide-Tongue front design, 10° kick-up, optimized approach angle, and matching V2 side rails. For exceptionally balanced power distribution and maximum traction when powering out of tight turns, the kit comes factory-equipped with a center differential, paired with molded ring and pinion gears for an ultra-free, highly efficient drivetrain. Modular front and rear chassis braces allow precise tuning of chassis flex, while the adjustable motor position and tool-free battery retention system with thumb tabs ensure optimal weight distribution.
Up front, the V2 steering system with reinforced posts and bellcranks eliminates vertical play in the steering rack and optimizes bumpsteer control throughout the entire suspension stroke. Paired with 73mm gull-wing front suspension arms, wide A and B suspension mounts, a matched carbon fiber shock tower with an integrated protective tower guard, and 13mm big-bore threaded shocks, the chassis easily soaks up the roughest bumps. Height-adjustable gearboxes front and rear—including an additional +2 rear gearbox for high-bite track sections—as well as heavy-duty 3.5mm turnbuckles make the B84.1D the ultimate contender on any dirt track.
