SkyRC Bluetooth Corner Weight System For 1/10 1/12 1/8 RC

The Smart Corner Weight System (SCWS2000) is designed for racers, who can use it to easily measure the weight distribution of their RC cars and, based on that, optimize the load on individual axles and wheels to achieve maximum performance from their models. The SCWS can be used for 1:12, 1:10, and 1:8 scale cars with a load per wheel not exceeding 2 kg.

The SCWS enables you to achieve precise and optimal weight distribution, which is critical for success on the track. The front and rear axles, as well as individual wheels, can bear different proportions of the car’s weight. Imbalance can lead to different handling characteristics when turning left and right. Weight distribution also affects the car’s stability. A well-balanced car is generally easier to handle and capable of driving faster thanks to its greater stability.

For precise measurements, SCWS uses a system of 4 digital scales interconnected with a smartphone app (for both Android and iOS) via Bluetooth 5.0. It not only displays the load on individual wheels but also calculates the load on the front and rear axles, the diagonal wheel loads (left front + right rear and right front + left rear), and the total weight. This helps you become a true expert in suspension tuning. The app also handles the Bluetooth connection for the individual wheel scales, assigns their positions, and performs calibration and tare adjustments.

Ideally, 50% of the car’s weight should rest on the left front and right rear wheels, and 50% on the right front and left rear wheels. If the diagonal load is not equal, the car’s handling in turns will be uneven—the model will turn more readily in one direction than in the other (assuming all other settings are balanced and directionally neutral).

The SCWS consists of four scales (each with a maximum capacity of 2,000 g) featuring stainless steel weighing surfaces. The load can be displayed in grams (g) or ounces (oz) with a resolution of 0.1 g (0.01 oz).

Power is supplied by a 3 V CR2450 button cell battery, which provides up to 30 hours of operation.

If necessary, the scales can also be calibrated using a 2 kg weight.
