"The SKY RC Q100neo 240W four-channel charger was designed to provide everything needed to charge four batteries—primarily those with smaller capacities—simultaneously ‘under one roof,’ including a power supply, with simple operation. The Q100neo allows you to charge and discharge common battery types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb); in addition, all channels are equipped with built-in four-channel balancers, which ensure very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries.
The intelligent software offers standard functions and is designed for practical users who purchase the charger to charge batteries
- a program for new types of “high-voltage” LiHV lithium batteries with a charging cut-off voltage of up to 4.35 V
- adjustable cut-off voltages for charging and discharging lithium batteries (allows for gentler charging, preferred by pilots, or, conversely, deeper discharging, favored by “car model enthusiasts”
- Intelligent power distribution among charging channels based on actual demand
- Programs for charging maintenance-free AGM lead-acid batteries and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures
- Measurement of total voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging cycles
- Measurement of internal resistance of the entire pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
Overview of Basic Functions and Parameters
- Input supply voltage 10–30 V DC (to fully utilize the charger’s power, the power supply should provide a voltage of at least 24 V)
- AC power supply 100–240 V/50–60 Hz
- For charging and discharging 1–8 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1–4 Li-ion/Li-poly/Li-Fe/LiHV cells, or 6/12 V lead-acid batteries
- Adjustable charging current: 0.1 A – 6.0 A
- Adjustable discharge current (0.1 A – 2.0 A)
- Max. total charging power: 100 W when powered from the AC outlet (1x 60 W, 2x 50 W, 3x 33 W, or 4x 25 W) or 4x 60 W when powered from a DC source
- Charging termination via automatic delta-peak detection for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Lithium and lead-acid batteries are charged using the “constant current/constant voltage” method
- Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Adjustable end-of-charge and end-of-discharge voltages for lithium and lead-acid batteries
- Repeated charge/discharge or discharge/charge cycles for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 3 cycles
- Three charging modes for lithium batteries—normal charging, charging with an emphasis on balancing, and storage charging/discharging
- Three charging modes for lead-acid batteries—for standard lead-acid “car batteries,” for lead-acid AGM batteries (batteries with electrodes separated by a glass-fiber separator impregnated with electrolyte), and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures (-20°C to +5°C).
- Charging stops when the set time or charge limit is exceeded.
- Measurement of total pack voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries)
- Measurement of total internal resistance of the pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- Stabilized power supply mode with adjustable voltage of 1–30 V and current of 0.1–6.0 A (max. 60 W)
- USB-C port—for firmware updates
- Backlit LCD display with a simple and intuitive menu and parameter display during charging/discharging
- A series of warning messages ensures safe operation—incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery or battery condition, incorrect output polarity, etc.
- Protection against reverse polarity and output short circuits
- Fan for forced cooling
- Compact plastic enclosure, small dimensions
- Built-in power supply.
The charger is equipped with XT60 output sockets and universal sockets for JST-XH service connectors on all channels, allowing you to directly connect battery power cables and JST-XH service connectors for 2-6S packs—if you use packs with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you won’t need any charging cables or adapters at all. To connect service connectors from other systems, you can use standard Sky RC adapters.
Note: When charging lead-acid batteries, the charger has an adjustable cut-off voltage of 2.31–2.75 V per cell in Normal mode (or 2.46 V per cell in the AGM battery program and the cold-charge program)
–with the appropriate settings, it is suitable for charging all types of lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries with reversible valves, as well as gas-tight gel batteries.
The charger set includes: Q100neo charger, power cord, instruction manual.
