The SKY RC D100neo 200W dual-channel charger was designed to provide everything needed to charge two batteries simultaneously at high currents “all in one unit,” including a power supply, with simple operation and the ability to communicate with a PC running the SkyCharger software. The D100neo allows you to charge and discharge common battery types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb); in addition, both channels are equipped with built-in six-channel balancers, which ensure very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries.

The intelligent software offers standard functions and is designed for practical users who purchase the charger to charge batteries, while also allowing control and monitoring of the charging process via a PC:

  • a program for new types of “high-voltage” LiHV lithium batteries with a charging cut-off voltage of up to 4.35 V
  • setting the cut-off voltage for charging and discharging lithium batteries (allows for gentler charging, preferred by pilots, or, conversely, deeper discharging, favored by “car modelers”—max. 4.22 V for LiPo, 4.12 V for Li-ion, 3.67 V for LiFe, 4.37 V for LiHV with current firmware)
  • programs for charging maintenance-free AGM lead-acid batteries and charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures
  • Measurement of total voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging
  • Measurement of internal resistance of the entire pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)

Overview of basic functions and parameters

  • Input supply voltage 10–30 V DC (to fully utilize the charger’s power, the power supply should provide a voltage of at least 24 V)
  • Mains power supply 100–240 V/50–60 Hz
  • For charging and discharging 1–15 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1–6 Li-ion/Li-poly/Li-Fe/LiHV cells, or 6/12/24 V lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte and maintenance-free AGM
  • Adjustable charging current: 0.2 A – 10.0 A
  • Adjustable discharging current (0.1 A – 2.0 A)
  • Max. total charging power: 100 W when powered from the mains or 2 × 100 W when powered from a DC source
  • Max. discharging power: 5 W
  • Charging termination via delta-peak detection for NiCd and NiMH batteries
  • Lithium and lead-acid batteries are charged using the “constant current/constant voltage” method
  • Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
  • Adjustable end-of-charge and end-of-discharge voltages for lithium and lead-acid batteries
  • Repeated charge/discharge or discharge/charge cycles for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 3 cycles
  • Three charging modes for lithium batteries—normal charging, charging with an emphasis on balancing, and storage charging/discharging
  • Three charging modes for lead-acid batteries—for standard lead-acid “car batteries,” for lead-acid AGM batteries (batteries with electrodes separated by a glass-fiber separator impregnated with electrolyte), and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures (-20°C to +5°C).
  • Charging stops when the set time or delivered charge is exceeded
  • Measurement of total pack voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries)
  • Measurement of total internal resistance of the pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
  • USB-C port with optional functions—for firmware updates, charger control, and monitoring the charging process on a PC using the Charge Master software, or as a power/charging source for mobile devices (QC3.0/PD)
  • Backlit LCD display with a simple and clear menu and display of parameters during charging/discharging
  • A series of warning messages ensures safe operation—incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery or battery condition, incorrect output polarity, etc.
  • Protection against reverse polarity and output short circuits.
  • Fan for forced cooling.
  • Compact plastic enclosure, small dimensions
  • Built-in AC power supply.

The charger is equipped with XT60 output sockets and universal sockets for JST-XH service connectors on both channels, allowing you to directly connect battery power cables and JST-XH service connectors for 2-6S packs—if you use packs with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you won’t need any charging cables or adapters at all. To connect service connectors from other systems, you can use standard Sky RC or RC System adapters.

Note: When charging lead-acid batteries, the charger uses a terminal voltage of 2.40 V/cell (or 2.46 V/cell in the AGM battery program and in the cold-charge program) – for this reason, it is suitable for charging conventional lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries with a reversible valve. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged to more than 2.30 V/cell.

The charger set includes: D100neo charger, power cord, user manual.
