The Team Associated RC10B84.1 continues the prestigious legacy of a proven winning platform: With the historic IFMAR World Championship title secured in Australia by Team Associated factory driver Marcus Kaerup, the B84 proved itself as the global benchmark in 1:10 4WD off-road racing. The RC10B84.1 evolution transfers this uncompromising World Champion DNA straight into the kit—specifically refined for maximum lap times, surgical steering precision, and maximum durability across carpet, astro turf, and dirt tracks.
Champion Proven: Refined Chassis Balance, V2 Steering, and Variable Flex Options
The foundation of this race machine is the competition-developed 2.5mm tapered 7075-T6 aluminum chassis featuring a Wide-Tongue front design, 10deg kick-up, and an optimized approach angle. Whether on tight indoor tracks with high bite or rutted outdoor loam circuits, modular front and rear chassis braces allow torsional flex to be dialed in precisely to track grip levels. Perfectly balanced weight distribution is achieved via the fore/aft adjustable motor position and the tool-free battery retention system with grippy thumb tabs.
Up front, the newly designed V2 steering system with stiffened posts and optimized bellcranks eliminates vertical play in the steering rack, delivering razor-sharp cornering and consistent bumpsteer control throughout the entire suspension stroke. Paired with 73mm gull-wing front suspension arms, a carbon fiber shock tower with a protective molded cover, and 13mm big-bore shocks, the suspension easily absorbs harsh curbs and heavy jump landings. Height-adjustable gearboxes—including the included +2 rear gearbox for high-grip surfaces—the decoupled slipper clutch, and heavy-duty 3.5mm turnbuckles make the B84.1 the premier choice for racers aiming for the top step of the podium.
