Yokomo BD12
The new aluminum chassis version of the BD12, with its extremely low center of gravity, is designed specifically for high-grip surfaces and delivers overwhelming cornering speed!
The main chassis design is newly designed to match the rigidity of the BD12's chassis, which has a split upper deck, to provide a "sticking feeling" that captures the road surface even when turning at high speeds.
Combined with the sway bar setting, which is already available as an option, it is possible to achieve a roll balance that maximizes road grip. On the other hand, the short damper, which responds to even the slightest stroke by mounting bearings in the spring cups, is also excellent. The suspension works reliably to prevent sudden high-sides.
Features:
- Newly designed aluminum main chassis to match the rigidity balance of the BD12
- Split upper deck and motor mount for improved pitching rigidity
- Shock length is further shortened and bearing-mounted spring holders eliminate twisting
- Body stiffener on front hub carrier prevents interference between body and tire for better traction
- Carbon plate on motor mount for improved pitching rigidity
- 90T spur gears are used to lower the center of gravity of the drivetrain. The motor has also been moved closer to the front to centralize mass
- Newly designed front shock tower with additional upright shock mounting position
- New rear shock tower with variable rear shock angle
If you are going to race it, it's appropriate to fit your electronics choice according to the category.
