XLPOWER Stratos 700 – Next-Generation Precision and Performance

The XLPOWER Stratos 700 is a high-performance 700-class RC helicopter engineered for the most demanding 3D aerobatics. Its completely redesigned construction combines an exceptionally rigid carbon fiber frame, upgraded main and tail rotor systems and a robust drivetrain, delivering outstanding control precision, reliability and easy maintenance .

The airframe features 2.5 mm upper and 2 mm lower carbon fiber frame plates. The redesigned structure integrates the main shaft bearing block with the servo mounts, while a one-piece motor mount ensures precise drivetrain alignment. The main shaft and intermediate assembly have been lowered by 15 mm , contributing to improved mass centralization, faster control response and greater flight stability.

The redesigned rotor head features true 1:1 control geometry and a reverse-mounted ultra-short phase arm for exceptionally direct and precise cyclic response, even during aggressive 3D maneuvers. The swashplate incorporates an enlarged 35 × 47 × 10 mm double-row angular contact bearing. A high-rigidity rotor head damping system optimized for extreme 3D flying is included.

The upgraded drivetrain features an enlarged one-way bearing with 50% higher torque capacity and a reinforced belt-driven tail transmission. The completely redesigned tail rotor assembly incorporates an 8 mm tail shaft, 6 mm blade grip spindles and premium NSK bearings for maximum precision and durability. A custom-profile aluminum tail boom houses a one-piece 3 mm titanium control pushrod, while the optimized weighted tail blade grips help reduce tail servo load.

The Stratos 700 also offers numerous practical features, including a  quick-release battery tray compatible with XLPOWER Specter , integrated cable routing channels and convenient access to mechanical components. The helicopter is designed for a 12S LiPo power system with a recommended battery capacity of 5000–6000 mAh.
