The XLPOWER Specter 700 V2 Ultimate is a 700-class electric RC helicopter for pilots seeking direct control and mechanics built to handle high loads. It develops the World Champion Edition platform through refinements to the frame, motor mounting and tail rotor system. The kit provides the basis for a model equally suited to large aerobatic figures and fast, power-intensive 3D manoeuvres.
The carbon airframe features reinforced centre and lower sections. A one-piece CNC-machined motor mount connects to the central reinforcement plate, making the motor installation a structural part of the frame. This arrangement reduces torsional flex and helps maintain component alignment as loads change. A helical main gear works alongside a belt-driven tail system.
The 7075-T6 aluminium rotor head uses 1:1 control geometry. Combined with a 120° cyclic servo layout, it provides a linear mechanical foundation for accurate cyclic and collective control. The main shaft is 15 mm in diameter, with a 10 mm feathering shaft. The model is designed for 685–720 mm main blades and 105–115 mm tail blades.
The Ultimate tail assembly incorporates a CNC-machined teetering hub and O-ring damping elements. A tail control pushrod routed beneath the boom increases clearance from the main blades. Practical features include a quick-release battery tray and a rear mounting platform for the flybarless controller. The recommended 12S LiPo system leaves room to select a motor and ESC to suit your intended flying intensity.
