M7R is a new improved version of the OMP HOBBY high performance „700“ class helicopter. Like the original M7 it is designed to - with the appropriate motor and electronics - meet the requirements of flyers just starting with large choppers, sport pilots, scale enthusiasts as well as 3D champions. While the core structure remains an M7 at heart, many parts have been thoroughly optimized and refined shaving whopping 200 grams off the M7R airframe compared to M7. Together with the M7 proven innovative long-throw design of the main and tail rotor heads it provides tremendous control authority and manoeuvrability.
The M7R can adopt a wide range of brushless motors and electronics; therefore - either „straight from the box“ or with optional parts added - it will meet requirements of seasoned 3D pilots and is ready to work with their favourite and well tested equipment.
- Flybarless main rotor head
- 120° CCPM swash plate
- All-metal main rotor head of high strength 7075 aluminium alloy with large control throws for exceptional response and control authority for 690-716 mm blades
- Rigid airframe with carbon sides; the lower part can be removed without disasembling the tail boom

Recommended main rotor blades: 700 mm carbon.
Recommended tail rotor blades: 106 mm.
Recommended RC set: At least 6-channel computer transmitter w. heli program.
Recommended cyclic servos: Standard size - like KAVAN GO-1180MG, GO-1182SHV, MKS HBL850, HBL960, HBL950 etc.
Recommended tail servo: Standard size - like KAVAN GO-11T80MG, GO-11T82SHV, MKS HBL880, HBL990, HBL980 etc.
Flybarless control unit: Futaba CGY770R, CGY760R, CGY755, Bavarian Demon BD 3X, BD AXON, FrSky RF007etc.
Suitable motor: 4525-4530 size brushless outrunner 500-550KV for 12-14S LiPo. Sport flying: Sunnysky M4526R 540KV, extreme 3D Sunnysky M4530R 518KV or similar.
ESC suitable for sport flying: 130-180A HV heli brushless ESC, like Platinum 150A SBEC V5.1, Platinum 180A HV SBEC V5 or similar.
ESC suitable for 3D and extreme 3D flying: 200-300A HV heli brushless ESC, like Hobbywing Platinum 260A-HV OPTO V5 or similar.
Flight pack: 12S (2x 6S) LiPo 4500-5200 mAh min. 60C or 14S (2x 7S) 4000-4500 mAh min. 60C.
