Specter 700 V2 is a high-performance 3D nitro RC helicopter delivering unique innovation improving simplicity of assembly and setting up and reliability of operation. The heart of the heli is built around the clutch stack system that features unique design features that aid in providing simple engine alignment and don't require complex tools. The tapered joints found in the clutch stack ensure a smooth and low-vibration operation.
Servicing the engine is also a breeze thanks to the ability of the engine to be removed from the bottom without disassembling other parts. The fan shroud also shares this concept; each side can be removed from the frame as well.
The Specter Nitro shares many parts with the Specter 700 V2 NME electric airframe, such as the 7075 aluminium rotor head and tail rotor system. The black anodized aluminium rotor head with 1:1 swash to rotor head geometry offers a simple set-up and improved cyclic behaviour, a conical tail shaft and tail hub improve tail rotor symmetry and balance, updated tail blade grip bearing stack, a quick assembly tail control linkage rod that does not require glue, heavy-duty undercarriage - all these updates born from the desire for better performance as well as ease of life of the highly successful XL Power Specter 700V2 airframe are shared by the Specter Nitro as well.
The direct drive gear train offers peak power thanks to the incredible airframe rigidity, a heavy-duty sprag one-way system, and a dual support clutch system ensuring an amazing performance, but also increased bearing lifespan and overall engine reliability.
