This is the CLAYMORE V2 tire from PROCIRCUIT. Like its predecessor, it's a tire very demanded by our official team drivers. This tire is an evolution or combination of the Square Impact and the Hot Dice. These two treads are the most used on competition events by our team drivers, so we decided to combine them and bridge the gap between them with the same Square Impact's pins pattern but larger pins similar to the Hot Dices.
The Claymore was the tire our team drivers used at the 2016 IFMAR Worlds in Las Vegas, when Robert Batlle took the 2nd podium spot.
The V2 has increased the total number of rows and slightly increased the size of the pins to maintain the excellent grip and speed in the most demanding tracks. These two modifications improve the life of the tire.
The Claymore V2 stands up on clean layouts, blue groove or slightly wet surfaces and provides excellent forward traction and speed.
New S compound
After extensive development with our technical department and the Procircuit drivers, we are excited to introduce the new S compound. It’s more stable, versatile, and better suited to all conditions and varying levels of track grip. It provides a wide range of usability, offering excellent grip in soft compounds for slippery tracks, and great comfort and traction in hard compounds for high-grip tracks.
This new S compound is highly temperature-stable, allowing it to perform effectively with any compound regardless of ambient temperature. This enables us to base our choice of compound solely on the track’s grip at the moment, greatly simplifying the process of selecting the appropriate hardness.
Additionally, it offers greater durability and enhances the overall driving experience.
The S compounds are available as follows:
