“…This compact, smart tire warmer for 1:10 RC on-road cars lets you—just like the drivers in ”big" Formula 1—hit the track with tires warmed to the optimal temperature right from the start! Just place the car on the stand, put the preheating sleeves on the wheels, and start the heating program—and you’re all set! Of course, you can fine-tune everything even further: preheat in two or three stages, apply various additives... the preheater lets you do all of this with ease. And thanks to the Bluetooth module, you can have complete control over its operation and settings in the RC GEARS app...
The Tire Warmer neo tire preheater consists of a control unit with a display and two pairs of heating sleeves that are placed over the car’s tires. You can power the tire warmer using a high-capacity battery (e.g., 4S LiPo) or a regulated 6–20 V power supply capable of delivering at least 10 A. Alternatively, you can use a high-power USB-C power supply/charger with PD protocol (20 V, 100 W).
The clear and intuitive program menu and programming dial/button ensure easy operation. The tire warmer uses three heating programs—single-stage rapid heating (heating to the desired temperature and holding), two-stage heating (adjustable pre-start delay, heating to desired temperature #1 over a set time, adjustable delay, heating to desired temperature #2 over a set time, and holding), and three-stage heating (same as two-stage with an additional stage). Multi-stage modes are suitable when applying more than one additive to the tires; they also ensure a more thorough and even heating of the entire tire. You can continuously adjust the tire temperatures within the range of 20–80°C.
During the heating process, the display shows the temperatures of all four tires and the elapsed time. The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit; you can set the safety timer (10–120 minutes), the minimum temperature of the preheaters when no heating programs are running, and the threshold level for low-voltage alerts (to prevent excessive discharge of the power battery, if you are using one). If necessary, the temperatures of the preheating sleeves can be calibrated using a precise infrared thermometer.
