V20 Pro is a 24-channel RC set for advanced recreational and sports modellers. It operates on the brand-new TD Pro transmission system, which uses three frequency bands simultaneously. You can also choose the TD, TW, ACCESS, ACCESS R9 or ACCST D16 protocols. The range of compatible receivers and possible applications is therefore very extensive.

The V20 Pro is based on the proven ergonomics and controls of the V20 transmitter, enhanced with several improvements. The latest gimbals can be tuned using screws on the front panel, allowing you to adjust the mode, stick tension, ratcheting, or stick travel limiters while using, without disassembling the transmitter. The display has higher brightness, haptic feedback can be adjusted independently on both sticks – the left and right, the radio includes a built-in text-to-speech engine for voice alerts, and it features many other intelligent, safety and comfort functions.

The V20 Pro is the world’s first radio to use the new TD Pro protocol. It operates simultaneously on 2.4 GHz FSK and LoRa bands, and also on a backup 868 MHz band. Thanks to this, it delivers both long range and low latency even for telemetry, as well as a secure band for emergency situations. This system is especially appreciated by pilots of large and complex aeroplanes and helicopters.

No more disassembling the radio. The new gimbals are fully adjustable using screws on the front panel. This means that you can easily adjust, while using, not only the transmitter mode, but also stick tension and ratcheting, the strength of the centring springs, stick travel limiters and self-centring. Both gimbals have independently adjustable vibration feedback.

The V20 Pro builds on the ergonomics proven by more than a year of operation of our first radio, the V20. The gimbals are positioned close to the edges of the body for a comfortable and secure grip, whether hand-held or using a tray. Switches, buttons, dials and trims are always within easy reach. So you don't have to take your eyes off your model for a second. But the stylish and vigorous exterior of the transmitter tempts you to do so.

The large LCD touchscreen still has a resolution of 800×480 px and a diagonal of 4.3". However, we have replaced the backlight, making the display brighter, even in direct sunlight. You will precisely see every colour shade and detail of the already clear ETHOS operating system. More demanding users will customise their radio environment with Lua scripts. These are used to create custom widgets for various aviation data to display directly on the home screen.

Audio feedback? Wireless. Trainer mode? Wireless. Full telemetry? Wireless. Prefer a chunk of copper? Cable works too. The V20 Pro has one 3.5mm jack for audio and another for trainer mode. Additionally, the radio features a built-in Text-to-Speech engine for setting up custom voice alerts.

The 6.5–8.4 V power supply is provided by the included 2S LiPo 4000mAh battery. Available timers and alerts will notify you when power is running low. The radio features a built-in balancer for 2S batteries, so you can charge it directly without removing it from the tray. Charging and data transfer both work via USB-C, so you will always plug the cable in on the first try.

TD Pro is far from the only transmission system available. The V20 Pro also supports TW, TD, ACCESS, ACCESS R9 and ACCST D16 protocols. You no longer have to struggle with which receiver to choose. Whether you fly recreationally or for sports, with helis, aeroplanes or drones, you can choose the system exactly according to your needs. Four LoRa and FSK antennas will hold you up in every situation. There is also a Lite-type bay on the back of the transmitter for connecting various external wireless modules.

All KAVAN transmitters are covered by a three-year extended warranty.
