KAVAN Flix already available

We are launching the new KAVAN Flix – builder's kit of a wooden DLG hand-launch glider.

Flix is a small, high-performance RC glider made of very light all-balsa construction with rudder and elevator control, designed for discus launching.
It is an ideal project for modellers who want to build their own model using traditional construction methods, for recreational flying as well as getting some exercise during discus launching.

The model is easy to build thanks to CNC-cut parts with tabs and slots that fit together precisely. The wing can be built on a flat surface without additional jigs. The wing design allows the discus launch pin to be installed on either side of the wing, for both right- and left-handed pilots.

The front section of the fuselage consists of a nacelle made from CNC-cut balsa and plywood parts, with easy access to the servos beneath a removable hatch with a magnetic lock. The tail consists of a carbon tube boom with a fibreglass seat for attaching the horizontal tailplane.
