The three-blade XLPOWER Stratos 200 is a compact electric RC helicopter for pilots seeking strong main rotor authority and the distinctive response of a three-blade head. The third blade increases total blade area compared with the two-blade configuration. This version expands the Stratos 200 platform with another approach to agile 3D flying in a small airframe.
The three-blade head uses 1:1 control geometry, providing a direct mechanical relationship between swashplate movement and changes in blade pitch. The package includes three 195 mm Azure Power carbon main blades and a 45 mm tail blade. When setting up your chosen flybarless controller, account for the three-blade configuration and follow the controller manufacturer's recommendations.
Gearless direct drive keeps the drivetrain simple and removes the need to adjust gear mesh. An integrated system with a Hobbywing V5 ESC is complemented by DS4208 HV servos with metal housings. The platform supports 4S LiPo power; the manufacturer specifies a 4S 650 mAh pack with an XT30 connector. An adjustable battery compartment accommodates a suitable pack.
Practical details include a plug-in tail boom and a contact-based tail motor connection that avoids soldering during replacement.
