SKY RC NC2500 Pro charger 6x AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd

A multifunctional six-channel charger/discharger that provides comprehensive and truly convenient care for your AA (penlight) and AAA (micro) NiCd and NiMH rechargeable batteries. The charger’s intelligent programs take care of your batteries, from initial conditioning with a low current, through regular charging or discharging, to testing voltage and internal resistance, as well as reviving cells that have been in long-term use or, conversely, in long-term storage. The NC2500 Pro is also equipped with a USB power/charging output supporting the QC3.0 protocol and an output for running in DC electric motors. A power adapter is included with the charger kit.

Charging: The NC 2500 Pro allows you to simultaneously charge, discharge, condition, or revitalize up to six AA or AAA rechargeable batteries. Parameters of the current process (charge/discharge current, charge/discharge level, battery voltage, elapsed time) are continuously displayed for all channels on the LCD screen. LED indicators for each channel signal good contact with the inserted cell and the current operating mode (discharge or charge). The NC2500 Pro’s channels operate synchronously—simply insert 1–6 batteries of the same type, set the charging parameters or other operating mode, and then start the same process for all “occupied” channels with a single button press. (If you require the ability to use a different charging/discharging program in each channel, choose the Sky RC NC2200 charger.) When charging, the NC2500 Pro also takes the cells’ internal resistance into account—if it is too high, it automatically limits the charging current to prevent overheating. You can also select a special step-by-step charging mode—this allows you to set the charging profile in three steps with different charging currents, which switch when the set charge level is reached. For example, you can set a gentler charging profile with a current that decreases as the charge level increases, thereby extending the life of your battery.

USB QC3.0: The NC2500 Pro charger supports the QC3.0 charging protocol (5 V/3 A ... 9 V/2 A, with a maximum output power of 18 W). Charging begins as soon as you connect your device to the USB QC3.0 port; you can monitor the output voltage, charging current, output power, total charge delivered, and charging time on the display.

Running-in of DC Electric Motors: The run-in output enables gentle run-in of DC electric motors (so that the carbon brushes adapt perfectly to the commutator) under controlled conditions: you can set the voltage (0.5–6.0 V), current limit (0.1–2.0 A), motor rotation direction, and run-in time. You can charge the batteries simultaneously with the run-in process.

The NC2500 Pro’s USB-C port allows you to update the charger’s firmware.
