SKY RC Engine Heater for 3.0-4.3ccm RC car nitro engines

The Sky RC Engine Heater is designed to preheat internal combustion engines for RC model cars with a displacement of 3.0–4.3 ccm (.19–.26 cu inch) and a cylinder head diameter of up to 63 mm. Using the preheater, you can warm the engine from room temperature to the optimal starting temperature of 60–70°C in just 10 minutes. Preheating eliminates the difficulties of starting a cold engine—even in cold weather!

The preheater warms up all critical parts of your internal combustion engine, helping to reduce stress and wear on the engine. It reduces the load on the crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, and cylinder liner as the engine warms up to operating temperature. It also makes starting the engine easier and faster while placing less strain on your starter motor. Fuel consumption is reduced, and the time needed to warm the engine up to operating temperature and bring it to peak performance is minimized. Furthermore, a preheated spark plug in a preheated engine can achieve a longer service life. The preheater is also suitable for engine break-in, as it reduces excessive tightness in a new, cold, unbroken-in engine. Preheating is controlled by a microprocessor; safety timer: automatically shuts off heating after approximately 10 minutes. Temperature is detected by a built-in temperature sensor, and the preheater’s operation is indicated by an LED. For power, you can use a 12 V car battery, a large 3S LiPo battery, or a 12 V regulated power supply providing at least 8 A. An automatic system that disconnects the heating when the supply voltage drops prevents the power battery from being over-discharged.

The fire-resistant heated sleeve for the engine cylinder head is adjustable, and the flap on the top allows you to glow the spark plug and check the cylinder head temperature without having to remove the preheater.
