The legendary American carrier-based multirole fighter to life as a highly detailed RC EDF model. The two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet is known for its versatility, agility and ability to operate from aircraft carriers, and FMS has incorporated many of the aircraft's distinctive features into this impressive model.

The Super Hornet features extensive scale detailing, clean lines and numerous realistic details. It includes a detailed cockpit, scale engine exhausts, distinctive air intakes and scale weapon details. The model also comes with four different decal sets, allowing pilots to customize the appearance of their Super Hornet and create a unique aircraft.

Power comes from an advanced 70mm 12-blade EDF V2 combined with a powerful 2860 KV1850 brushless motor and a 70A ESC with a 5A BEC. The system is designed for a 6S 3300mAh 35C LiPo battery, delivering strong thrust, impressive speed and a deep, turbine-like EDF sound.

One of the key features is the CNC-machined shock-absorbing landing gear, which helps absorb bumps and harder landings. The aircraft features fully retractable landing gear, significantly enhancing its scale appearance in flight. The airframe uses a screw-together construction system, making the model quick to assemble and convenient to disassemble for transportation. A heavy-duty wing spar and pre-installed ball-link control horns provide additional strength and increased control throw.

The Super Hornet is equipped with nine 9g servos controlling the ailerons, elevator, rudder and flaps. This provides a wide range of control options and allows the pilot to adjust the aircraft's handling for everything from high-speed sport flying to slower approaches and landings.
The airframe is constructed from durable EPO foam, offering an excellent balance of low weight and durability. The environmentally friendly water-based paint provides a vibrant and glossy finish. A convenient button-type canopy hatch provides quick access to the battery and electronics compartment.
