Standalone MKS digital servo programmer/tester with enhanced programming capabilities. With the LCD touch screen as a user interface, you have a comfortable programming and testing tool ready to be used everywhere and anytime. During programming the servo is powered by a receiver battery (5.1-15 V depending on the operational voltage of the servo) connected to the programmer. All parameters are first set on the screen and then written into your servo. The programmer could be also used as a servo tester for virtually all servos - analog & digital, regular 1.5 ms neutral servos & 760 µs narrow band ones. It can also measure the classic PWM servo control signal pulse width on channel outputs of receivers.
Requirements for using the programmer
NORMAL (Standard) Programmable Functions
Neutral: The setting of the neutral position.
Max_PWM (Max. pulse width): The maximum angular range will be limited within this command value.
Min_PWM (Min. pulse width): The minimum angular range will be limited within this command value.
Reverse: Reverse of the PWM command.
Dead_Band: The signal value can be allowed to change under the circumstance without affecting the angle of the output / servo arm.
CMD_Lost (Fail-Safe): The Servo move to the “CMD_Position” when the PWM control signal is lost.
CMD_Position: The emergency position in the case of PWM command lost, if the “ CMD_Lost ” is turned on.
CMD_Time: The Servo will move to the “CMD_Position” after the “CMD Time” when the PWM command is lost.
ADVANCED Programmable Functions
Same as the NORMAL plus the following:
Soft_Start: Once powered on the servo moves slowly to the initial position corresponding to the control signal.
L_Angle: Max. Left angle adjustment.
R_Angle: Max. Right angle adjustment.
Servo_Power: The power of the servo motor will be limited within this value.
Speed_Enable: Enables limiting the servo speed.
Speed_Limit: Sets the servo speed limit value.
Lock: The setting when the servo does not receive the signal - Keep at the last angular position / The motor is released.
Boost: The steps of the motor when starting-up. The larger the value is, the more powerful the step of the motor during the start-up.
Servotester Mode
Featuring adjustable frame rate, the servo tester mode of DSP-2 can be used for testing of virtually all types of servos: analog (at 50 Hz only), digital at 50-333 Hz and narrow band digital servos at 500-560 Hz.
The programmer set includes: DSP-2 programmer, stylus, JR/JR servo cable, manual.
