The multifunctional LCD programming box for controllers of selected XDFly series is used for easy and quick programming of controllers - "table top" at home as well as at the field. In addition, it can serve as a servo tester, it can also measure the width and frequency of PWM signal pulses, e.g. at the output of a receiver. It is also equipped with an input allowing measuring the total voltage and the voltage of individual cells of 2-8S lithium battery packs.

1. PROGRAMMING THE ESC
The ESC is to be connected using a servo cable or a special programming cable (depending on the ESC type); the sockets are located on the left side of the box. The box is powered by the BEC stabilizer of the XDFly ESC. Programming is done with the motor and flight battery connected.
Four buttons on the front panel of the box are used for programming. With their help, you select the program functions ("ITEM") for adjustment and use the arrow buttons to set their value. The "OK" button confirms the change made and writes it to the memory of the ESC. The name of the program function and its value are displayed on the two-line LCD display.
The method of connecting the controller to the Multifunction LCD Programming Box depends on the type of controller - it varies depending on whether the controller has a special programming cable or socket, etc. When connecting, follow the instructions supplied with the box and your ESC.

2. MEASURING THE WIDTH AND FREQUENCY OF PWM SERVO SIGNAL PULSES
When connected to the receiver's channel output, the LCD programming box allows you to measure the frequency and width of the control pulses of the pulse width modulated (PWM) control signal for classic servos.

3. SERVOTESTER
The LCD programming box can also function as a control signal source for testing servos, ESCs and other model equipment. In this case, a power source (e.g. a receiver battery) must be connected to power the LCD programmer and the servo being tested.

4. LITHIUM BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECKER
Plug the balance lead of the power pack into the "BATTERY CHECK" socket on the right side of the box; the display will then show the voltage of the entire pack and individual cells. (When measuring voltage, the LCD programming box is powered from the balance lead of the measured battery, it does not need an additional power source.)
