We introduce two new 12 V servos, KAVAN GO-1182SHV and GO-11T82SHV, specially designed for cyclic and tail rotor control on 500–800 class helicopters. They are programmable, in an all-aluminium case for optimal cooling even under high load, with an output shaft mounted on three ball bearings. Both servos now support 1520/760 µs neutral settings (with a refresh rate of 333/666 Hz), using only a programming card.
When operated at a higher frequency (with a 760 µs neutral), the servos have a higher resolution of the main rotor speed for better control over the steering. It also increases the gain of the flybarless unit, which brings greater stability and more precise responses during flight.
