"The SKY RC B6ACneo 200W charger was designed to provide everything needed for charging—including a power supply—with simple operation, all in a size that fits in the palm of your hand. The B6ACneo allows you to charge and discharge common battery types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb); it also features a built-in six-channel balancer that ensures very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries. It can also operate in regulated power supply mode with an output voltage adjustable from 2 to 27 V and a current of 1 to 10 A, or charge smartphones, tablets, and similar devices via a USB-C output supporting the QC3.0/PD protocols.
The intelligent software offers standard features and is designed for practical users who purchase the charger specifically to charge batteries:
- a program for new types of “high-voltage” LiHV lithium batteries with a charging cut-off voltage of up to 4.35 V
- settings for charging and discharging cut-off voltages for lithium batteries (allows for gentler charging, preferred by pilots, or, conversely, deeper discharging, favored by “car modelers”—max. 4.22 V for LiPo, 4.12 V for Li-ion, 3.67 V for LiFe, 4.37 V for LiHV with current firmware)
- Programs for charging maintenance-free AGM lead-acid batteries and charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures
- Measurement of total voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging cycles
- Measurement of internal resistance of the entire pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
Overview of Basic Functions and Parameters
- Input supply voltage 10–30 V DC (to fully utilize the charger’s power, the power source should provide at least 24 V) when powered by a battery or a stabilized AC power source
- AC power supply 100–240 V/50–60 Hz
- For charging and discharging 1–15 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1–6 Li-ion/Li-poly/Li-Fe/LiHV cells, or 6/12 V lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte and maintenance-free AGM batteries
- Adjustable charging current: 0.2 A – 10.0 A
- Adjustable discharging current: 0.1 A – 2.0 A
- Max. charging power: 200 W when powered by an external AC adapter or car battery, or 60 W when powered by the built-in AC adapter
- Max. discharge power: 5 W
- Automatic charge termination via delta-peak detection for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Lithium and lead-acid batteries are charged using the “constant current/constant voltage” method
- Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Adjustable end-of-charge and end-of-discharge voltages for lithium batteries
- Repeated charge/discharge or discharge/charge cycles for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 3 cycles
- Three charging modes for lithium batteries—normal charging, charging with an emphasis on balancing, and storage charging/discharging
- Three charging modes for lead-acid batteries—for standard lead-acid “car batteries,” for lead-acid AGM batteries (batteries with electrodes separated by a glass-fiber separator impregnated with electrolyte), and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures (-20°C to +5°C).
- Charging termination when the set time or charge capacity is exceeded
- Measurement of total pack voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries)
- Measurement of total internal resistance of the pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- Stabilized power supply mode with adjustable voltage and current limiting: 2–27 V / 1–10 A, max. 60 W when powered from the mains / max. 200 W when powered from an external source
- USB-C power/charging output for mobile devices: QC3.0: 5 V/3 A, 9 V/2 A, 12 V/1.5 A (max. 18 W)/PD: 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 20 V/3.25 A (max. 65 W)
- USB-C port for charger firmware updates
- Backlit LCD display with a simple and intuitive menu and real-time parameter display during charging/discharging
- A series of warning messages ensures safe operation—incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery or battery condition, incorrect output polarity, etc.
- Protection against reverse polarity and output short circuits.
- Fan for forced cooling.
- Compact plastic enclosure, miniature dimensions
The charger is equipped with an XT60 output socket and a universal socket for JST-XH service connectors, allowing you to directly connect the battery’s power cables and the JST-XH service connectors of 2-6S packs—if you use packs with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you won’t need any charging cables or adapters at all. To connect service connectors from other systems, you can use standard Sky RC or RC System adapters.
Note: When charging lead-acid batteries, the charger uses a terminal voltage of 2.40 V/cell (or 2.46 V/cell in the AGM battery program and the cold-charge program) – for this reason, it is suitable for charging conventional lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries with a reversible valve. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged to more than 2.30 V/cell.
The charger set includes: B6ACneo charger, power cord, and user manual.
