The specific conditions of the transmitter (and also receiver) operation call for a dedicated type of LiPo batteries – there is no need for high discharge rate but low self-discharge and tolerance to irregular charging cycles and long term storage in fully charged state are essential. We are happy to introduce a special line of 5/10C KAVAN LiPo batteries optimized for transmitter use.
Do not use a charge rate higher than 1C, the recommended charge rate is 0.5-1C. We recommend using a balancer during every charge. KAVAN transmitter LiPo batteries do not require any initial forming; however, the initial three charging cycles should be performed at a rate not higher than 0.5C. There is no need to discharge the LiPo batteries before the charging - you can charge partly discharged packs.
The batteries are supplied as "Tx Packs“ tailored to the SANWA MT4 / M11X / M12 / M12S / M12RS and FUTABA T6J / T8FG / T12FG and similar transmitters. The packs feature output (charging) cables with Futaba servo connectors and balance cables with JST-XH connectors that could be connected directly to the balance sockets of the most of KAVAN, Raytronic, SkyRC, GT Power etc. chargers.
